Kate has a fantasy of Daniel, but wakes up with Stefano. She learns about Lucas from Philip and goes to see him, but runs into Daniel on the way. He can't believe she's not in jail. Kate rubs her marriage to Stefano in his face. Later, Daniel proposes to Chloe. After a night of booze and finally blacking out, Lucas wakes up in the hospital. Will and Maggie are with him, and at first he doesn't want to listen to what they have to say. Sami arrives and promises he's going to listen to her. She threatens he'll never see Allie again if he doesn't get help. Maggie and Sami get him to agree to go into a treatment facility away from Salem. Lucas isn't thrilled about that, but Maggie assures him as soon as he's better he can come back. Chloe, having heard from Philip that Lucas is at the hospital, comes to see him. He tells Chloe he forgives her. They were never right together. Later, Philip comes to see Lucas. He is surprised Kate hasn't stopped by. Lucas says it's for the best as he wants nothing to do with her. Little does he know, Kate is at the hospital and has overheard. Lucas leaves for treatment. EJ and Nicole enjoy their Parisian get away. Stefano calls and informs EJ of the newest member of the family, Kate. At the same time, Brady runs into Arianna with Troy. Brady doesn't think it's wise for Arianna to see someone who's in recovery. Arianna blasts Brady and slips that she knows about Nicole's miscarriage. Brady warns Arianna not to tell anyone. Later, Arianna tracks down Sami and is desperate to find Rafe. Brady goes to the DiMera mansion to see Nicole, but learns from Stefano she's not there. He makes a decision and calls her, but before he realizes EJ has picked up, he blurts – the secret is out!
