Arianna crosses with Victor who is pleased she broke up with Brady. Meanwhile, Brady is angry with Philip for making love with Melanie. Melanie defends Philip and after Philip goes, Brady wonders if she still loves him. Melanie denies. Brady admits Arianna dumped him. Arianna shows up and stunned Melanie confronts Arianna who lies and says Brady is boring. Melanie sees Arianna is struggling for control of her emotions. Arianna goes as Melanie tells Brady if Arianna said she dumped him because she didn't love him anymore, she was lying. Meanwhile, a tearful Arianna enters a motel room and says she can't do this anymore, and asks to be let go. It's revealed that she's talking to Roman. Victor asks Philip to stay at the mansion on his own terms. Philip agrees. Will accidentally reads Mia's diary and learns she still has feelings for Chad. Convinced she's hiding something from him, Will breaks up with her. Chad, meanwhile, tells Maggie he won't give up on Mia. When Mia tells him Will broke up with her, Chad thinks that means him and Mia will get back together. Instead, Mia accuses him of ruining everything he touches and runs out in tears. Will tells Maggie he broke up with Mia because she's not honest with him. Maggie wonders if Chad had something to do with it and Will admits Chad had everything to do with it. Justin is shot by Dean, seemingly dead. However, Justin manages to speed dial Bo, who overhears Dean intends to kill Hope and Ciara. Before Dean can put his plan into action, Bo flies through the door and overcomes him in a struggle. After the police force takes Dean into custody, Bo is hit when Dean screams that Bo and Hope's lives are destroyed all because Bo refused to pay the ransom. He asks Bo if it was worth it as Bo has Dean dragged out of his house. However, there's still a huge emotional gulf between Bo and Hope.
