Stephanie confides in Philip about her worries that even if they work things out, with Max Melanie will always come between them. Phil defends Melanie and Stephanie calls him on it. They learn that Nicole has been arrested. Stephanie is stunned. Melanie tries to make nice with Max. Nick shows up and offers to let Mel stay with him at Maggie's house. Bo arrives with news that Nicole has been arrested. Vindicated, Melanie threatens a lawsuit. Nicole is arrested and EJ arrives to defend her, but he seriously doubts that she's going to make bail. EJ asks Hope if there is any word on Sami. Nicole goes off on him. EJ tells her to keep it up and the only thing between them will be their baby. Sami is spooked by an intruder, but it turns out to be an FBI agent, Rafe. He realizes what Sami's done and goes off on her. Hilda wakes up and quits. Rafe learns he will be Hilda's replacement.
