Sami agrees to go into the witness protection program when she realizes it will help her hide her pregnancy. She says goodbye to her parents and the twins. Johnny points to Sami's belly and says, "Baby." EJ is twigged. Melanie tries to seduce Philip. Philip plays along at first but then tells her he doesn't sleep with murderers. Now that he knows how devious she is, he realizes he has no choice but to turn her in. Max witnesses Melanie turn vicious with Bo when she points out there is no hard evidence against her. Max realizes he may have undeservedly given her the benefit of the doubt, which cost him Stephanie. He goes to Stephanie, but she tells him there's nothing to say. Melanie decides to leave town. She finds a note slipped under her door that says: "I saw you at the cemetery. I know what happened." Chelsea almost walks in on an intimate moment between Kate and Daniel and deduces that they are hot and heavy again. Chelsea lashes out at Kate and wishes she never had to see Kate again. Daniel comes in with Kate's test results and announces Kate has cancer.
