Nicole brings Brady to EJ to back up her story that Brady was out of his mind the night he called about a secret. After Brady leaves, Nicole thinks she dodged yet another bullet, until EJ produces the pregnancy padding. Nicole continues to deny the obvious even when EJ plays the recording of her talking about "her miscarriage" with Brady from the night before. EJ confronts her with all her lies and asks if their baby died that night in the clinic. Lying, Nicole tells EJ that she delivered their baby, but EJ remains unconvinced. Sami decides to get over Rafe and get a job. She doesn't have any luck with job hunting and is upset. Brady asks her if she wants help to find Rafe, but Sami thinks Rafe has moved on from her and she has to do the same. In the meantime, Meredith is entombing Rafe behind bricks in the basement of her parents' old home. Roman confirms to Arianna that Meredith's story about being in town to fix up her parents' house is true. Arianna calls Meredith and decides to go check on her. However, when she arrives, no one is there. Meanwhile, Meredith takes Rafe's unconscious body to the pier and rolls him off into the river. Sami tries to talk Mia into forgiving Will, but Mia stays true to her secret deal with Chad and won't get back together with Will. Will learns from Chad about Chad and Mia's reunion and is heartbroken when Mia tells him it's true.
