Nicole has a fantasy about killing Dr. Baker and rushes out to talk to him. She crosses with EJ who is reminded of Sami. EJ sets up a meeting with Roman and runs into Marlena who assures him that Nicole's behavior is normal for pregnant women. EJ thanks Roman for allowing Sami to communicate with the twins at Christmas, and urges Roman to find the killer so Sami can come home. Marlena and Roman realize EJ still has feeling for Sami. With Johnny, EJ admits he misses Sami, but realizes he has to make Nicole part of their lives. Meanwhile, Dr. Baker again refuses to help Nicole, who finds his cell phone. She calls a number on it and threatens the woman who answers until she agrees to meet with Nicole. When they meet, Nicole is shocked to see the young woman is Jill, a pregnant teenager. Chelsea asks why Melanie said at Christmas she thought she saw sparks between Max and her. They're just friends. Max assures Chelsea that they are, and learns Melanie stirred the pot. He confronts Melanie who thinks Max and Chelsea definitely have feelings for one another. Chelsea asks Victor to fire Melanie. He refuses. Brady and Philip confront Victor for hiring Brady behind Philip's back. Both threaten to quit and Victor fires them. Brady and Philip team up to advocate why firing them would be a mistake. Rafe discovers the church flyer Sami took when she was last at the convent. Sami explains her plan to give her baby to the nuns. She needs Rafe's help with this plan. He refuses. Meanwhile, the killer has tracked down Rafe's cell phone number, and traces the number to its location.
