Sami has a nasty fall in the loft. At first it looks like her baby is in jeopardy, but Rafe calls her doctor and quickly surmises she's okay, except for a possible concussion. Again, Rafe thinks he's become a liability in protecting Sami. He thinks he should resign. Sami won't hear of it. She thinks they're a good team. Later, Sami's stomach hurts and Rafe comforts her. Sami wishes EJ could know his son. Rafe wonders if she's changing her mind. Sami says she's not, but the thought of her baby's father not in its life makes her sad. EJ wants to snuggle and Nicole has to put him off. EJ reassures Nicole that he's there for her and their baby. Nicole gives in, they kiss, and EJ feels her padding, but suspects nothing. Nicole needs a moment to figure out the next step in her plan as Dr. Baker shows up demanding his money. Philip quits and Victor lays into him for acting emotionally over the alternative fuel project and Titan business. Stephanie encourages Philip to mend fences with his father as Victor shores up Melanie and the alternative fuel project. Victor allows Philip to come back, but Philip demands to be in charge. Stephanie is proud of Philip for standing up to his father. Melanie arrives at the Brady pub and she's not pleased to see Philip and Stephanie under the mistletoe, kissing. Maggie has a talk with Chloe to make sure she really wants to spend her life with Lucas. Chloe assures her this is the case. Kate has a special gift for Chloe and Lucas and asks Daniel to take it to the Horton cabin. Daniel does and is stunned to find a teddy-clad Chloe at the door, intended for Lucas' eyes only.
