EJ and Stefano have put the hit man on Philip's trail. They want Philip's demise to occur while they're at the church, thus having an alibi. Meanwhile, Philip is impressed by Stephanie luring him to the hotel where they finally make hot, intense love for the first time. After searching the Kiriakis mansion, the hit man's trail goes cold, but he eventually finds out Philip is with Stephanie at a hotel. Nicole arrives at the church, unable to believe her wedding seems to be going off without a hitch until Dr. Baker arrives. Meanwhile, maid of honor Chloe runs into Brady, who wants to talk to Nicole. Chloe tells him it's not a good idea, but Brady wants to stop her from living a lie. Chloe repeats this to Nicole, who is freaked Brady may stop her wedding. EJ, Stefano, and Lexie show up and the time comes for the wedding march. Nicole spots Brady and wonders what he will do. After Nicole directs her eyes towards EJ, Brady gives in and leaves. EJ and Stefano spot Brady and have a man follow him. During all of this, Sami is on fire to tell EJ the truth about Grace. Sadly, she's delayed by a flat tire and then her baby gets a fever. Max doesn't think Sami should go to the church, but she's deeply torn. Sami can't keep this secret from EJ another day, but she fears she's missed her window of opportunity. Little does she know, Mia's arrived at the church and has a few words of own.
