Lexie discharges Ava, who is drug free and okay to go to jail. Bo runs into Ava at the station and goes off on her. Ava is about to go to jail when Roman informs her that her father's lawyer just paid her bail. Later, Roman and Abe learn Ava's psychiatrist has been killed. Martino pages Daniel and asks him to find out what is wrong with Ava. Daniel refuses and leaves. After learning his informant has also been murdered, Bo shows up and cold-cocks Martino. Daniel admits to Chelsea he's been thinking about her all night. Chelsea is his patient and that's the way it has to stay. She ignores his words and pulls him into a kiss. Max has pulled an all-nighter and copied over Nick's grant proposal and it's ready to mail. Nick asks about his papers and Max says he hasn't seen them. Nick decides to make sure things are solid with Chelsea. Then he'll worry about his grant papers.
