Kayla questions Ava about her illness and her meds. Ava shows Kayla the scars on her arms and says she has a brief psychotic disorder. Kayla thinks the diagnosis is wrong. Ava gets defensive and calls Kayla a bitch! Stephanie's troubled by her parents' disappearance and Max tries to comfort her. Max clears the pub so they can have privacy. Stephanie tells Max she loves him and he's tongue-tied, at first. Later, Max finds his courage and tells Stephanie he loves her. Marlena returns from her trip and tells John she's going to find a way to get him back. Sami tells Marlena that EJ has taken Nicole Kiriakis on as a client. Marlena thinks Sami sounds like she has real feelings for her husband. Sami protests. EJ gets a notice about his final immigration hearing and tells Sami his future is up to her.
