Philip meets with Marlena and reveals he has the disk that was taken from John's mansion. Philip will give it to her if she promises not to say where or how she got it. EJ and Lucas compare notes about Sami and realize Sami has a habit of rejecting the men who want her until another woman makes a move. John learns from Nicole that EJ has tricked Sami into thinking they are still married. Caroline and Max talk about his biological father although Max doesn't say who it is.
