It is the day of the Brady/Horton Fourth of July picnic and preparations are in full swing at Bo and Hope's house. Doug and Julie show up dressed as Uncle Sam and Betsy Ross. Doug and Julie learn that Chelsea is seeing an older man. Bo talks to Doug about it and Doug reminds Bo he wasn't keen on Bo when he first started dating his daughter. Nicole shows up for John's Fourth of July party. Lucas and Nicole cross paths and Nicole wonders why Lucas is so willing to let Sami hurt him again. Lucas tells Nicole he and Sami love each other and they're working through their issues. Nicole wishes him the best. Chloe tells Philip the only reason she told Roman about seeing Paul on the pier was to help him. Philip thinks she may have made things worse. Philip tries to comfort Morgan. Morgan thanks him by giving him a kiss. Chloe sees it and walks away.
