Roman questions Marlena and suspects that she had something to do with Stefano's "stroke." Marlena sneaks into the lab and changes Stefano's test results. Then, she sneaks John out of the hospital. Hope and Bo get physicals before their flight to Ireland. At the hospital, Lexie learns she has become the new Chief of Staff. Anna and Tony celebrate being back in Salem after returning from their travels. When Tony tells Anna he has a surprise for her, she giddily anticipates a marriage proposal. Instead, he announces he bought an advertising agency in Salem. Anna storms off and, later, confides her frustration to Caroline. Caroline suggests Anna work for a competing ad agency.
