Tony and EJ are with a comatose Stefano. They know if Stefano wakes up there will be hell to pay. Stefano secretly wakes up from the coma and vows to get revenge on Marlena. John is upset Ava has left him. Marlena tells John she thought she had neutralized Stefano but apparently he is much stronger than she realized. John threatens to kill his brother. Philip checks himself out of the hospital. Hope shows up to talk to Philip about why he threatened Paul. Morgan says she will tend to Philip's every need while he recovers. Max explains to Melanie that Trent does not know he's been looking for her. Stephanie and Melanie do not hit it off very well, at first. Suddenly Melanie is arrested in front of them.
