Ava reunites Steve and "Kayla" (really Hope). Steve whispers for Hope to follow his lead. Steve tells Ava, now that she has him its time to let "Kayla go." Ava refuses. She thinks "Kayla's" tummy is too flat for a pregnant woman and she needs to get "Kayla" to a doctor, but Hope protests. Ava gives Steve a passionate kiss and sends "Kayla" off with the guard. Victor attempts to throw Nicole out but she refuses and tells him they are still legally married. She has every right to stay. Kate takes Chelsea up to her room. Daniel stops by to say good night. Max is working the nightshift at the docks when Stephanie shows up. Max tells her he doesn't want her coming down here to see him – it's not safe. She tells him she feels safe wherever he is and they share a tender kiss.
