Steve rushes Ava and knocks her out. Hope has been hit in the shoulder and is alive. Hope, Bo, Steve and Kayla try to escape but Ava comes to and sets off an alarm. Guards surround the foursome. Ava is about to shoot Steve. Hope asks Ava to tell them why she hates Steve so much. Ava agrees to tell them the love story of Patch and Ava. Chloe returns to the Kiriakis mansion and accuses Nicole of ratting her out. Nicole suspects Chloe is responsible for Brady's disappearance. The two women get into a fight but Philip breaks it up. He later tells Nicole he has a proposition for her. Stephanie sneaks into Max's bedroom for some company. She tells Max how she hasn't heard from her parents or from her uncle Bo and Hope. Max tries to comfort her and tells her to have faith.
