Sami and Lucas break from a steamy kiss. Lucas knows his absence has been hard on Sami, but she didn't need to run to EJ. Sami loves Lucas but is forced to admit she has feelings for EJ, too. She's sure they will go away as long as she and Lucas can work on building a new relationship together. Roman tells John and Marlena that an entire shipment of John's cargo has been impounded. They found half a million dollars of cocaine in it. John blames Philip and wants to check on his stuff. Roman forbids it so John punches him. Roman arrests John, who freaks out. Marlena sneaks up and drugs John. Stephanie worries about Max since he was working on the docks during the drug bust. She runs out and bumps into Max, and is so grateful to see him. Abe comes to the pub wanting to question Philip about the drugs. Philip says he has nothing to hide.
