Lucas is being transferred to maximum security. Chloe comes to say good bye and to tell him she's sorry. Kayla and Steve bring their baby home. Caroline and Maggie are there to welcome them. Kayla is emotional as the nurse gives them a tutorial on the medical equipment they need for the baby. Sami meets with Ava to show her the apartment. Sami is looking to sublet and Ava needs to find a place. Ava agrees to sublet Sami's apartment, until Steve and Kayla find out. Ava is discouraged and asks John if she can move in with him. John tells her there are already too many people living in his home, and that he likes the idea of her living somewhere else so they can get away from family. John and Ava kiss and begin to make love on the rooftop. Marlena learns that EJ is threatening to sue Sami for custody of Johnny if she tries to move out of the mansion.
