Philip and Belle arrive at the Chicago hotel and find they have missed the pageant. A woman from USAdorable tells them she'll check if Claire's name is on file. Shawn arrives and reports Willow's baby wasn't his. The USAdorable woman returns and says Claire was dressed and registered as a boy. At Doug's abandoned club, Doug, Julie, Bo and Hope work on getting down into the boarded up cellar and tunnel to look for clues on the origins of the DiMera/Brady feud. Bo finally finds a narrow shaft in the wall so they can climb down into the tunnel. They hear a strange shriek coming up from the tunnel, followed by a cough, and they realize someone is down there! Steve and Adrienne walk in on Stephanie and Jeremy, both in towels. Steve takes an instant dislike to Jeremy and pulls him into a private talk about his intentions with Steph. Later, Steve tells Steph he does not like Jeremy, and Stephanie lashes out. A drunk Nick walks in on Chelsea and Jett in am embrace and gets the wrong impression. Nick tries to fight Jett, but Jett overpowers him. Chelsea assures Nick they will straighten things out after he sobers up.
