Bo, Hope, John, Marlena, Doug and Julie gather to read a new batch of translated letters between. In private, Bo tells John they've got Stefano under surveillance, in hopes of arresting Andre. In flashback, Colleen asks little Shawn to tell Father Mallory and Sister Mary Anne she's caring for their sick aunt, while she actually goes to see Santo at his hotel. She and Santo nearly make love, but are interrupted when Sister Mary Anne comes knocking on the door. Belle defends Philip to Shawn, saying he's not interested in her. Philip repeats Belle's denial, and says that if he wanted to get rid of Shawn, he'd tell the police that Shawn was involved in Lauren's scam. Belle agrees to move into the pub as long as Shawn allows Philip to keep seeing Claire.
