Steve is not happy when Kayla visits him at the state hospital. She tells him she saw EJ's name on the guest registry and inquires what that was about. Steve has no comment and says he wishes Kayla would just leave him the hell alone, for her own good. Kayla isn't about to back down and threatens to tell Stephanie about what's going on with him. In a huge moment, angry Steve grabs Kayla, pretends to hold a knife to her back, and escapes from the hospital.
