At Doug's Place, Bo climbs down into the tunnel. He reaches the bottom and the terrible howl is heard again. Someone other than Bo emerges from the tunnel, dressed in black gloves and a ski mask. Hope rips off the mask and reveals — Lexie Carver! Lexie reports that Bo is dead. The USAdorable woman looks up Claire's "mother's" name — Evelyn Quarry. Belle calls her and tricks her into coming back to the hotel by saying there was a mistake and her son, "Jeffrey," actually won first prize. The woman shows up asking for the prize money and Belle demands to know where Claire is! The woman calls her crazy and tries to run, but Philip and Shawn block her path. Shawn finds Claire's shoe in her backpack. Steve reiterates his dislike of Jeremy, causing Stephanie to blow up at him. A disheartened Steve laments that he screwed things up. Adrienne suggests that Steve invite Jeremy to dinner and welcome him into the family. Then either Jeremy will turn out to be a decent guy, or Steph will see on her own that he's a jerk and she won't be able to blame Steve.
