Colleen hides, seconds before Sister Mary Anne enters Santo's room. The Sister spots Colleen's scarf on the bed. After Santo sends the nun on her way, he and Colleen begin to make love again. However, Colleen sees her scarf and rushes to the church, where Sister Mary Anne is in the process of exposing Colleen's secret rendezvous to Father Mallory. Tony tells EJ that Stefano has been brought to the hospital. His liver is failing — this is the end. EJ goes to his father to say a final good-bye. He asks Stefano to end the vendetta before he dies. Stefano says he has to get in touch with Andre to do that, but Andre can't be found. Later, Dr. Rolf explains to Stefano, Tony and EJ that a slice of liver from a live donor may prolong Stefano's life. Lucas and Sami press Kate to see if her recent funds have come from Stefano. Sami deduces Kate had to sleep with Stefano to get the money, but she keeps the revelation to herself. Later, Stefano calls Kate, and Lucas and Sami overhear him ask her to retrieve the leather folio from Andre.
