Billie realizes Steve has escaped from the state mental hospital and is concerned for her well-being -- especially after Steve tells her he needs her help getting out of town. EJ arrives, unaware Steve is there, and asks Billie to the Penthouse Grill. She claims she's busy having a heart-to-heart talk with Chelsea. When EJ goes to the grill later, though, he sees Chelsea with Sami and learns from the girl that there was no heart-to-heart. Knowing Billie lied to him, EJ returns to her apartment and calls her on it -- while Steve hides from him in the shadows.
