Bo Brady played by Peter Reckell
Bo has always been somewhat of a rebel, from his Merchant Marine days to his rocky relationship with his natural father, Victor Kiriakis. However, when it comes to women, Bo's heart has belonged to Hope Williams since the day they met. Both Bo and Hope work for the Salem Police Department, with the exception of a brief stint as bounty hunters.
When the Salem Stalker hit Salem, Bo lost his mother and his brother, and he and Hope decided to rejoin the police force to help stop the bloodshed. When all were discovered to be alive on an island, Bo was part of the rescue team and was shocked to find his past love, Billie Reed, there as well.
Upon returning to Salem, Bo and Billie learned that the daughter they thought was stillborn was actually alive - and living in Salem as Chelsea. Bo learned that Chelsea was the one driving the car that hit Bo and Hope's recently deceased son, Zack, but agreed to keep it secret from everyone - including Hope - so his daughter wouldn't go to jail. When Hope found out, she kicked Bo out of the house and asked for a divorce.
Hope eventually tried to move on with Patrick Lockhart while Bo turned back to Billie. But Hope soon learned she was pregnant with Bo's baby, and they managed to repair their relationship. When Bo and Hope's child Ciara was kidnapped, Bo chose to go after the kidnappers instead of paying the ransom. When Ciara was rescued, Hope couldn't let go of the fact that Bo put his daughter's life at risk, so she and Ciara moved out the house.
Bo and Hope's marriage became more strained when Bo's ex-lover Carly Manning returned to Salem in need of his help, and Hope began taking sleeping pills to get through the night. What she didn't know was that she was taking on another personality under the influence of the medication and mugging Salem's men down at the dock. Hope was later convicted of her crimes, including an attack on Bo, and sentenced to prison. Bo couldn't let the mother of his children go to prison, so he helped her escape. Bo and Hope can't seem to stay apart for long, and the two are trying to make their relationship work.
