Carrie Brady played by Christie Clark
Carrie's birth name is Caroline Anna Brady and she is the daughter of Roman Brady and Anna Fredericks. Sami and Eric Brady are her half-siblings, as are Rex and Cassie. Her mother abandoned Carrie and Roman when Carrie was only four years old.
When Austin Reed moved into town, Carrie was instantly attracted. She wound up becoming roommates with Austin's troubled sister, Billie. Carrie and Austin began dating, but Austin's fighting career was a sore spot. Carrie, meanwhile, had just become a finalist in Bella magazine's "Face of the '90s" competition. When Austin failed to "throw" a fight, Carrie became the victim of an acid attack that left her face scarred. She pushed Austin out of her life, which gave her sister Sami an opportunity to dig her claws into him.
Sami teamed up with Lucas, who was obsessed with Carrie, to keep Austin and Carrie apart. Meanwhile, Carrie had plastic surgery on her face and was willing to give Austin another chance. During a romantic ski weekend, Carrie lost her virginity to Austin, after almost being raped by man who went on to rape Sami instead.
Sami continued her scheming and went so far as to drug and rape Austin, making him believe she was Carrie. Carrie and Austin managed to survive all the drama and plan their wedding. Sami of course ruined the day with the announcement that she was pregnant with Austin's child (which was a total lie). Carrie was devastated when Austin decided to make a go of life with Sami and baby Will. It didn't last long, and Carrie and Austin continued to find ways to be together. Determined never to let her sister be happy, Sami concocted a scheme that ended with her wedding to Austin!
Carrie endured many more distractions and along the way and became good friends with Dr. Mike Horton. He was her shoulder to lean on, and she appreciated his willingness to listen to her drama. Eventually, Carrie got the sweetest revenge when she interrupted Austin and Sami's "real" wedding with the news that Will was actually Lucas's baby, not Austin's. Austin and Carrie were married on the spot, while Sami was left seething.
Unfortunately, the damage to Carrie and Austin's trust was done. She cheated on Austin with Dr. Mike Horton, and Austin left Salem for good. Carrie and Mike wound up moving to Israel together after Carrie accepted his marriage proposal.
Carrie returned to town and was surprised to see Austin home as well. Austin suggested to Carrie that they move to Switzerland where he could work at the Mythic Communications division there and Carrie could reclaim High Style, her former company. Carrie agreed on one condition - that they get married first. The two immediately went to the Justice of the Peace with their signed marriage licenses and got married, but not before getting briefly interrupted by a drunk Sami; and Carrie disowning her. After saying their goodbyes to John, Kate, Marlena and Roman, Austin and Carrie took a plane and left Salem.
