In his spare time, Moss continues to nurture his love for music by playing as much as possible.
Eventually Jack and Jennifer reunited and accepted jobs as reporters for a London newspaper, moving to England with JJ and his sister, Abigail, in tow. When the family decided to return to Salem in 2011, JJ stayed in London to attend boarding school. A year later, Jack died, prompting Jennifer and Abigail to visit JJ in London. He announced that he wanted to start going by "Jack" to honor his father.
In April 2013, JJ returned to Salem a few weeks early, prior to the end of his semester. Although thrilled to see him, Jennifer soon learned the real reason JJ returned - the school kicked him out for selling marijuana. JJ denied it, blaming the scandal on his roommate. Jennifer vowed to find the truth, but in the meantime, she enrolled him in summer school at Salem U.
JJ's homecoming involved yet another unexpected wrinkle - a new beau for her mom, Daniel. Their happy relationship incensed JJ who did not approve of Daniel's presence in his mom's life. This led JJ back to drugs - smoking and dealing with his shady friend Rory - and incited his current mission: to sabotage Daniel and Jennifer's relationship by slashing Daniel's car tires and destroying other property. Although JJ maintains his innocence and his acts of vandalism remain unproved, Daniel openly suspects him, and Jennifer is not far behind.
With distrust mounting and JJ's irresponsibility starting to backfire, how far will he go before the truth emerges and he has to face real consequences?
