Taylor returned to her native Australia to star in "Cedar Boys" and then shot the feature "Summer Coda," which was the first film to sell out at the 2010 Melbourne International Film Festival and was released later that year.
In 2011, Taylor co-starred in "Red Dog," which became the eighth largest box office hit in Australia and the biggest-selling Australian DVD of all time. The film dominated the 2011 Inside Film Awards, having been nominated in nine categories and winning seven, including the best feature film award.
