Grade School
  • 1. 4th Grade, Age 9: Morgan found out that I slept with a Smurf night light and never told a soul. A secret he promises to take to his grave.
  • 2. Pointed out Heather McKenna's visible bra strap at 6th grade assembly. Sharp eye, Morgan. Sharp eye.
  • 3. Was my wingman and only living witness when I set the record for TRON: Deadly Discs at the Encino AMF Lanes Arcade.
  • 4. Gave me the most memorable birthday gift a ten year old could imagine--Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition 1992: Kathy Ireland.
  • 5. Playing "Star Wars" he'd always let me be Luke Skywalker--he was comfortable playing Chewbacca.
  • 6. 7th Grade, Age 12: I asked Morgan to "drown" me in the public pool so the hot lifeguard could give me CPR. He really sold it.
  • 7. Gently told me he saw my 7th grade girlfriend kissing my so-called friend backstage at the auditorium after band practice--then helped me plot revenge.
  • 8. Helped me stage the TRON festival as our 8th grade project.
Grade School
  • 9. 9th Grade, Age 14: Strength in numbers. Every day, no matter what, we ate lunch together. It was the only thing that kept the senior football players from taunting us over our tater tots.
  • 10. 10th Grade, Age 15: Morgan always showed up on time for our 007 missions--which were all part of the 007 video game. N64, I do miss you.
  • 11. He dressed up as Juliet to help me practice my lines for my Shakespeare presentation of "Romeo and Juliet." Then wrote multiple anonymous positive reviews of my performance.
