2013 Audition Dates Announced!
In its tenth consecutive year, NBC is proud to present another groundbreaking year of Stand-Up for Diversity. Through this initiative comedians of diverse backgrounds have been launched to new career milestones. Each year NBC selects 3-5 cities across the country and holds both auditions and live showcases of the top diverse talent from that area. At the end of the search a handful of comedians are brought back to Los Angeles to showcase for key industry players at NBCUniversal and industry-wide. Many of the comics from last year's Best of Stand-Up for Diversity showcase signed with top Hollywood agents and met with the entertainment industry's leading casting directors and executives. Do you feel like you are a design visionary...and have the portfolio of work to support that belief? Do you have a great personality and passion for your work? You've gotten noticed where you are but now you want to show America what you can do? If you said yes, then this is the show for you!
American Dream Builders (working title), led by host NATE BERKUS, is looking for America's biggest talents and already established home designers, builders, decorators and craftsmen to compete in NBC's groundbreaking design-focused competition show. The contestants will go head-to-head each week transforming rundown homes all across America. It will take a competitor with a BIG vision and an even BIGGER skill set to be crowned the winner of American Dream Builders and win the show's HUGE cash prize.
