Bios
Actress, singer and entertainer Sheila-Sheila has performed in dramatic and comedic roles in theater, film and television. She has been in many television variety shows, such as "America's Got Talent," where she placed Top 60 in Vegas as Sheila-Sheila of The Jungle. Sheila was also in "Salsa Singer" and Cristina Saralegui's show, now called "Pa'lante con Cristina" on Telemundo. She has studied at The Groundlings with coach Larry Moss and at Miami's prestigious Prometeo Theater Group. As an actress, she recently worked on "All My Children," played Nurse Juanita Sacramento in "Nurse Jeffrey," a spinoff of "House, M.D." and appeared in award-winning director Lewis Teague's "Cante Jondo" ("Deep Song") as Marguerita. In addition, she was in the Imagen Award-winning show "My Backyard Was a Mountain" as 99-year-old Tiaca (with many, many hours of hair and special makeup) and played Maria in comedian Joey Medina's feature "El Matador." Her theatre credits include the role of the Nurse in "Romeo and Juliet" at The Barnsdall, Aunt Augusta in "It Happened in Havana" at The Bilingual Foundation of the Arts and Mrs. Fishbaum at the Tamarind Theatre. Sheila has also appeared in "Yerma" at Miami's International Theater Festival and has received several awards for her contribution to the arts. She is delighted to be part of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers," a show that she knows will bring enjoyment to all, and wants everybody to know that she loves life and happy faces!
