Joan Kushell hails from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved to Southern California when she was 22 years old. While raising her family and working in her own commercial real estate firm, Kushell acted in and directed several community theater and performing art school productions, always wondering what it would be like to be in television. She had recurring roles on the Oxygen Network's "Pajama Party," and an Internet show called "Anytime with Bob Kushell," for Sony Pictures TV, and always maintained a healthy amount of comedic stylings around friends and family. It was this sense of humor, coupled with a propensity for practical jokes and a strong desire to perform, that landed her on "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" at the young age of 70. She hopes it's the start of a long and fruitful career in television - and film.
