Dylan Minette plays Rex, Detective Michael Britton's (Jason Isaacs) son, who - in one of Michael's worlds - is dealing with the loss of his mother after a tragic car accident in NBC's "Awake."
Minette was born addicted to performing. At the age of six he booked his first job, a Sears print ad, after begging his parents to let him audition. Later, Minnette starred as Holly Hunter's nephew on the hit cable series "Saving Grace" for which he won the 2008 Young Artist Award. He is also known for his memorable performance as an earless patient who befriends Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) on "Grey's Anatomy," and for his recurring role on "Lost" as Jack Shephard's (Matthew Fox) son. Minette also recurred on TNT's hit show "Men of a Certain Age."
Recently, Minette appeared in "Let Me In," which earned him rave reviews for his performance. His additional film credits include the Warner Brothers feature "The Clique."
Along with his acting career, Minette also performs in a band called The Feaver.
