Crystal is a trained female capuchin monkey and animal actor who has become beloved for her countless roles in popular television shows and films. Crystal has appeared in over 20 films; her earliest roles were in "George of the Jungle," "Dr. Dolittle," "Dr. Dolittle II," "American Pie" and "American Pie 2."
She went on to appear on a myriad of television series, which include "Malcolm in the Middle," "MADtv," NBC's "Frasier" and "Scrubs." More recently, she is a recurring character on NBC's "Community."
Most recently, she portrayed troublesome monkey Dexter in the 2007 film "Night at the Museum" and the 2009 sequel, "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian." Perhaps her most famous role to date was in 2011 as a drug-dealing monkey in "The Hangover Part II."
Crystal is owned by Birds and Animals Unlimited and lives with her handler and trainer Tom Gunderson and his family in Los Angeles.
