    Thomas John was well on his way to become a literature professor until a friend taught him to juggle. He loved practicing his new found skill and thought it would help him meet girls. It didn't. It did, however, propel him to leave Colorado and move to San Francisco, where he spent time training at a circus school and performing at Fisherman's Wharf. Thomas has been working hard at his variety act craft since 2006 and knows the national stage is just the platform he needs to take his career to the next level.

     Just arrived at SFO International airport where, for the first time ever, my juggling props have had a full cavity search. The juggling beanbags were swabbed and scanned and my juggling clubs, despite their protests were put through the full body scanner. Where, and I told, the TSA agents...
