    Summerwind Skippers

    The Summerwind Skippers Jump Rope Team has been performing together as a group for only two years, but each member of the team has been dedicated to competitive jump rope since childhood. After individually honing their skills on different teams, the six members of the Summerwind Skippers came together as long-time friends to create a performance-based group intended to promote the lesser-known sport of jump rope. Each member of the Summerwind Skippers has earned national and world recognition, including a World Rope Skipping Championship, scores of national titles and feature appearances in commercials, movies and on television programs.

    Oh boy...we sure have butterflies after watching last weeks performances! It was amazing to see the stage that we will soon be performing on. We're all so excited and nervous at the same time! We want to congratulate the four groups who moved on - what spectacular talent! We're really excited to see what the Sandou trio does next - we all LOVE the Russian Bar! We were so bummed to see our pals, The Fiddleheads, leave the show! They're such a talented group. Much love to The Fiddleheads! As for us, practice continues here in Boise, Idaho...EVERYDAY!! We know that we can do the routine, but man! Jump rope is tough! We've certainly been fighting the fatigue getting through our routine - it really showcases all of the different styles of jump rope in an action packed 90 seconds! Hope that the judges and America love it!
