    Steven Retchless

    Steve Retchless is the first-ever Male American Pole Fitness Champion, winning the title in 2010. His dance technique, originality and performance quality are what sets him apart in the Pole Dancing Community. Born in Las Vegas, Steve spent his childhood in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, which became the primary influence behind his dancing. He returned to the U.S. to attend high school at the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts, and graduated with honors. He then studied at the California Institute of the Arts, where he furthered his classical dance technique and composition skills. Steve has experience in a wide array of dance forms, from classical ballet, modern dance and hip-hop to burlesque, jazz and pole fitness. His style fuses the lightness of air with the power of being rooted to the ground.
