    Squonk Opera

    Squonk Opera is a visionary ensemble of musicians and artists who create post-industrial performances using staging, design and original music. The group created their first show in 1995 in a Pittsburgh junkyard, combining cranes, roaring earthmovers and screaming machine shears in a choreography of mechanized movement. Recognized as an instant hit, they have been touring nationally and internationally ever since. Squonk Opera presents an art that includes both the cheap thrills of a monster truck show and the fragile, delicate beauty of high art.

    What a Week!

    "Too weird for all of America" says Howie.  "Absolutely bonkers" says Piers.  And we messed with Sharon's head.  Not bad for a night's work.  To all of our friends, family and fans (both old and new), thank you for all of your support and votes this week!  It's been an incredible and fascinating adventure and we're grateful that we were able to give America a little taste of what we do.
