    Squonk Opera

    Squonk Opera is a visionary ensemble of musicians and artists who create post-industrial performances using staging, design and original music. The group created their first show in 1995 in a Pittsburgh junkyard, combining cranes, roaring earthmovers and screaming machine shears in a choreography of mechanized movement. Recognized as an instant hit, they have been touring nationally and internationally ever since. Squonk Opera presents an art that includes both the cheap thrills of a monster truck show and the fragile, delicate beauty of high art.

    We had a busy and productive day today.  We met with wardrobe, rehearsed our song, worked with AGT's choreographer, did an interview at the studio and then worked with AGT's vocal coach.  We ended the day with a delicious sushi dinner - it was a wonderful treat after a long day.
