Through the American Giving Awards program, Chase will grant $2,000,000 to charities, recognizing five (5) previous Chase Community Giving grant recipients, chosen by our Facebook fans as well as some Chase.com users. One (1) organization will receive a $1,000,000 grant, followed by four (4) grants in the following amounts: $500,000, $250,000, and two grants of $125,000. Each organization will represent one of five (5) pre-determined categories recognizing the "building blocks" of our communities!

The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion is one of the halls in the Los Angeles Music Center. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences held its annual Academy Awards in the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion from 1969 to 1987 and, again from 1990 to 1994, in 1996, and, finally, in 1999. Since the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra and Los Angeles Master Chorale have moved to the newly constructed and adjacent Disney Hall which opened in October 2003, the Pavilion is home of the Los Angeles Opera and Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at the Music Center.
Chase Community Giving (CCG) has delivered over $18 million in grants to 500 charities since 2009. Known as one of the most successful crowd-sourced philanthropic initiatives on Facebook, Chase Community Giving sustains over 3 million Facebook fans. Chase has partnered with Intersport and Dick Clark Productions to produce the first-ever American Giving Awards, presented by Chase. This offline, mainstream television platform will build upon the success of Chase Community Giving and drive awareness amongst an even greater number of people to help out local charities in their community.

He also has done distinguished work at HBO Sports and more recently the Major League Baseball Network.

A teen actress and pop-singer that has been in the spotlight since the age of 11 with her starring role on the hit Disney series Hannah Montana. She has since released three incredibly successful studio albums including the song, 'Party in the USA' and has been the headliner on some of the world's highest grossing tours. Some of her accomplishments include: Teen Choice Awards, People’s Choice, MTV Movie Awards and was named to the Time 100 list in 2008. Miley is also involved in charity work that aide the youth of America and victims of the Haiti earthquake.
J.R. Martinez
Actor, motivational speaker and former US Army soldier who has traveled the country speaking about his experience in Iraq where he sustained severe burns to over 40 percent of his body. J.R. is also the recent champion of Dancing with the Stars and continues his full-time role on the soap opera, All My Children. J.R.’s story has captured the nation and given greater attention to our wounded veterans.
Colin Farrell
A native of Dublin, Ireland, Colin Farrell quickly became one of Hollywood’s young A-list stars for his roles in Phone Booth, Minority Report and Alexander to name a few. Colin’s charitable efforts are, in large part, inspired by his son James who has Angelman Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder. Farrell is also an official games spokesman for the Special Olympics World Games in Shanghai, China and was named a UN Spokesperson in 2005 for the war on hunger.
Will.i.am
A multi-talented musician, actor and producer who came to prominence with the Black Eyed Peas in the 1990s; Will.i.am has won a total of 7 Grammy’s. Will.i.am has also produced songs for Britney Spears, Rihanna and Justin Timberlake and starred in the films X Men Origins: Wolverine and Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. He is very active in charities; creating both the i.am home outreach and scholarship fund. These charities help struggling families and young adults in need of financial assistance.
Jesse Tyler Ferguson
As a cast member of the hit television series, Modern Family, Jesse has become a recognizable face in Hollywood. Prior to being cast for the role of Mitchell Pritchett, Jesse has participated in Broadway productions since he graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy after high school. In 2006, Jesse was named "One of Ten to Watch" by The Hollywood Reporter for his role in the sitcom, The Class.
