Nina Magon is one of 12 contestants on NBC's reality competition series "American Dream Builders."
Magon is an award-winning interior designer with a passion for creating spaces that are singular and reflective of the clients who live in them. As president and creative director of Contour Interior Design in Houston, Magon seeks to first create a vision and then execute it for each client. She designs one-of-a-kind environments - each tailored to the client's unique taste - with an emphasis on skillfully executed, flawless detail.
Magon received a Bachelor of Science in economics and finance from Southern Methodist University, with post-graduate studies in architecture and design at the Art Institute of Houston.
In 2013, Magon won the categories of Best Interior Architecture and Best Interior Designer by Houzz.com, Best Interior Architecture and Best Commercial Interior by Paper City and Best Interior Design for a Retail Space by ASID Design Awards. She has also been featured in publications including Bloomberg Business Week, Modern Luxury Interiors, Prime Texas Living and Hyland magazine. Magon also placed second in the Miss Asian American Texas Pageant in 2001 and won the pageant's "Best in Interview."
Magon is a member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), Interior Design Society (IDS), and American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).
Nina currently resides in Houston with her husband, Karun, and two children.
