Christina Salway is one of 12 contestants on NBC's reality competition series "American Dream Builders."
Salway runs her design firm, ElevenTwoEleven Design, named for the ZIP code of her home and office in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The company continues to grow, taking on projects of all sizes throughout the city, the surrounding suburbs and now in the Hudson Valley and Catskill regions as well.
Salway graduated from Hampshire College in Amherst, Mass., in 2003 with a bachelor's degree focused in architecture. She took up residence in New York City, where she cut her teeth at the renowned club and restaurant designing architecture firm R.I.P. After two years with R.I.P., Salway left to pursue her own work.
Her work has been featured in the New York Times, Boston Globe, Design Bureau, Better Homes & Gardens, Brooklyn Exposed and on blogs such as Apartment Therapy, Brooklyn Modern and Brooklyn Limestone. She has also made multiple appearances on "The Nate Berkus Show."
Williamsburg continues to be Salway's home base, where she shares her apartment with her husband, John, their son, Julian, and their rescue pit bull, William.
