Andrew Flesher is one of 12 contestants on NBC’s reality competition series "American Dream Builders."
Flesher’s design style centers on his ability to mix modern and classic elements by blending new pieces with vintage finds. Instead of chasing fleeting trends, Flesher focuses on top-grade materials, unique details and long-lasting quality. His goal is to approach design from the outside in. First, he ensures that a space works well, then imbues it with livable luxury and a timeless aesthetic. He coordinates and is involved with every aspect of the design process, from demolition to doorknobs.
Previously co-head of the firm Gunkelman Flesher in Minneapolis, Flesher now has offices in both New York and Minneapolis, working on full-service, custom residential, commercial and hospitality projects worldwide. He designed a room in the 2009 Kips Bay Designer Showhouse. His work has been featured in House Beautiful, Metropolitan Home, House and Garden and more, and he has been quoted as a home expert in O at Home, InStyle and the New York Times.
