The Office Fanisode Video FAQ

Be sure to read the full Official Rules so that you don't find yourself on the wrong side of a rule.

  • How long do I have to submit? You have two weeks to upload your video from the time you reserved your segment. If you miss the the two week deadline, your segment spot will open up and someone else may claim it. You may also re-reserve your video segment at that time to buy yourself another two weeks.
  • There are three submissions for my segment. How do I win? You win by getting the most friends to "Like" your video. Be sure to Share your video from this page and tell everyone to "Like" it.
  • What happens if get the most Likes? If your video is selected, it will appear in The Office Fanisode, which will appear on NBC.com and may appear on NBC or our other television properties. Please read the rules for the rights you are granting by submitting your video.
  • What can't I use in my video?
    • Don't use footage you didn't create yourself.
    • Do not use any music for which you do not have the rights.
    • Do not include images, photos, logos or artwork that you did not create or to which you don't hold the rights (such as pictures from magazines, books and other web sites).
    • No inappropriate content. If we can't show it on network TV in prime time, don't put it in your video.
  • Can I post my video somewhere else? Do not post your video on any other site, such as YouTube, MySpace, Google, etc.
  • Can I submit for more than one segment? Once your video has been submitted and appears on the page, you are free to reserve another segment should one open up.
