JENNA FISCHER

JENNA FISCHER
as Pam Beesly

Jenna Fischer portrays Pam Beesly, the office receptionist who tolerates her boss' awkward attempts at humor in NBC's hit comedy series "The Office."

No stranger to television, Fischer includes among her credits guest-starring roles on "Six Feet Under," "That '70s Show," "Cold Case," "Miss Match," "Strong Medicine," "What I Like About You," "Off Centre," "Undeclared" and "Spin City." Her feature-film credits include "Slither," "Blades of Glory," "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story," "Employee of the Month," "Lucky 13," "The Specials," and the upcoming feature "The Promotion."

Fischer wrote and directed the feature film, "Lollilove," in 2004 starring herself, Linda Cardellini (NBC's "ER"), Judy Greer, and James Gunn. As a result, Fischer was awarded the Screen Actors Guild Emerging Actor Award at the St. Louis Film Festival. In addition, she received the Tromadance Independent Soul Award at the American Film Market.

Fischer was raised in St. Louis, Missouri where, at the age of five, she took her first acting class with Sean Gunn (Kirk on the "Gilmore Girls").

Much like her character, Pam, Fischer has a talent for administrative work and toiled for many years as both a receptionist and administrative assistant. She can type 85 words per minute with 90 percent accuracy.

She currently lives in Los Angeles with her cat, Andy.

Fischer's birthday is March 7.
