Omarosa's charity is Positive Vibrations Youth Mentoring Program, at Tomorrow's Aeronautical Museum in Compton. PERSONAL CONNECTION: Omarosa strongly supports the work of the organization, where they have an actual flight training school for at-risk youth and former gang members in South Central Los Angeles. Omarosa first became associated with the organization when she moved to LA and looked for a place to take flight lessons. Still learning to fly, she continues to take lessons there for her pilot license and volunteers her time with the kids.

Let's put the million-dollar question out there first. You've achieved fame and success in your life. Why put yourself through the often-brutal Apprentice process?

I chose to be a part of Celebrity Apprentice as a way to raise awareness about inner city youth who are at risk in my community and throughout the country.

While growing up in the tough housing projects of Ohio, I was also considered an at-risk youth. My father was murdered as a result of senseless violence. Life looked very grim for my siblings and me. Thanks to organizations like Positive Vibrations, I was able to beat the odds.

The streets of Compton, California are brutal and the kids in the program face tough challenges on a daily basis. I want to show them that life is not easy and that they have to face life head-on armed with the tools that will help them succeed.

What do you admire most about Donald Trump? Do you see a correlation between him and you in the sense that you are both famous AND business people?

I admire Donald Trump's tenacity. Donald Trump has endured tremendous adversity throughout his climb to the top. He has never allowed his detractors to bring him down. I too am very tenacious and will not allow my adversaries to deter me from accomplishing my goals.

"Success" can mean different things to different people; what does it mean to you?

Success means having the power to be a change agent to those in need.
