Let's put the million-dollar question out there first. You've achieved fame and success in your life. Why put yourself through the often-brutal Apprentice process?

It's a great opportunity and a challenge I couldn't resist. I really wanted to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

They're such a great organization. They give 85% of all money raised to research. And, of course, I'm playing for softball. It was a great chance to let everyone know about my sport and team in an Olympic year.

What do you admire most about Donald Trump? Do you see a correlation between him and you in the sense that you are both famous AND business people?

I don't know about a correlation other than that we're both sports fans!

I like to think that we both possess certain qualities you need to lead and to be successful.

"Success" can mean different things to different people; what does it mean to you?

Happiness. Looking in the mirror at night and being proud of who are you. Having a great family. Those are the most important things to me, but I also enjoy being at the top of my game in softball.

Why should you be Donald Trump's celebrity Apprentice?

Because it's an Olympic year and I hear Donald likes gold.

Since you are in the public spotlight, people already know a great deal about you. What's one thing that the public may not know?

I love to go fishing. It's one of my favorite things to do. I think it's my farming roots.

If you could be the star of any movie ever made, which star and which movie would it be and why?

"A League of Their Own" - it's my favorite movie. I found it inspiring when I was younger. There was so much adversity, and the women were trailblazers. It would be so fun to go back and live it!

What are your three favorite albums of all time?

I don't care... country, pop, anything?
