Dr. Dansinger Comments: This program can be highly effective for people who remain committed to the program, especially those people who rely on the provided meals and snacks for control of their calorie intake. Drawbacks could include the relatively high cost of staying true to the food plan, and the potential for weight regain when you stop buying their food. Strengths include the excellent support and motivation and the focus on learning how to maintain the weight loss for a lifetime.
