You made it very far in the Apprentice. What was your strategy?
My strategy was to do my best, I thought that would be enough to win. If I was thinking more strategically I would have moved over to Gold Rush.
Your team seemed to be very solid as long as things were going well. This week you seemed to be singled out to take the blame. What happened to your group?
The women on my team were very smart in their strategy, they formed an alliance early on to take me out so that they wouldn't have to compete against me in the finals. It was a very effective move.
If you could say anything to your former teammates right now what would you say?
Good luck, I hope you all go far in life.
What's the best thing and the worst thing about being on the Apprentice?
Worst thing: The people you're competing against do not benefit by making you look good. They can say anything they would like about you regardless of whether it's true or motivated from a place of truth, and those opinions can then go out to the general public as if they are truth. Even for the most centered and balanced person this can be a little disconcerting *wink*.
Best thing: The friendships, I left with life long friends in Tarek, Stacy, Summer and Sean, as well as many other great friends that I talk to regularly and travel to see. It's such a unique life experience that most of the cast end up bonding very tightly.
You've been on the inside. Who should we be looking out for in the week's ahead?
Tarek - Brilliant, savvy, an amazing strategist and an all around great guy. If Trump doesn't hire him I will.
Sean - Fantastic, fabulous and fun. An asset to any organization, just the thought of him makes me smile.
If you were giving advice to future candidates what would it be?
Have fun, when people attack you let it roll off your back, enjoy the tasks, the rewards and the people that you interact with. Don't take any of it too seriously.
What's next for you?
I'm expanding StickerJunkie.com, and as always working on my other businesses (check out AndreaLake.com to read about my four different companies).
I'm also spending a lot of time developing an awesome new business called Luxury Wedding Packages. This service allows people to go online and plan their entire wedding in a day! Then our planners and coordinators come in and manage the whole event, the bride and groom can be as involved or as uninvolved as they'd like. So our clients can literally just show up at their gorgeous $30,000 luxury ceremony and get married without any of the hassle of planning! This is going to be such a weight off couples, and of all the business models I've created it's the one I'm the most proud of.
