Biography:

The daughter of legendary comedian/ventriloquist Edgar Bergen, Candice began her career as a fashion model. It wasn't long before she was recognized as one of the most beautiful women in the world, but she was much more than a pretty face. She was, and is, a talented actress and performer with roles in many notable films, including "Carnal Knowledge", “Gandhi” and "Starting Over."

In1975, she became the first woman to host Saturday Night Live and was invited back to do so on four other occasions, making her the most frequent female host in the show's history.
